The "Service Engine Checklist" doctype enables you to create and manage checklists for the engine system service within the Service Management module.

Fields

1. Engine System

  • Label: Engine System

  • Usage:

    • Enter the name or description of the engine system component.
    • This field helps identify the specific part of the engine system to be checked.
    • Example: "Oil Level", "Spark Plugs", "Coolant Level"

2. Mark

  • Label: Mark

  • Usage:

    • Check the box to mark the completion or status of the engine system check.
    • Indicates whether the engine system component has been checked or serviced.
    • Example: Check the box when "Oil Level" has been inspected.

3. Remarks

  • Label: Remarks

  • Usage:

    • Enter any additional remarks or notes related to the engine system check.
    • This field allows you to add specific details or observations.
    • Example: "Oil changed recently", "Spark plugs replaced", "Coolant topped up"

Usage

  1. Navigate to the "Service Management" module.
  2. Select "Service Engine Checklist" from the list of available doctypes.
  3. Click on "New" to create a new checklist item for the engine system.
  4. Enter the name or description of the "Engine System" component to be checked.
  5. Check the "Mark" box to indicate completion or status.
  6. Add any relevant remarks in the "Remarks" field.
  7. Save the record.
  8. You can view, edit, or delete checklist items as needed.
